Although he believes he is slick and no one is on to his act, he’s not that hard to spot from a mile away. We’re on to every one of his scams, cons, hustles, hoodwinks, gambits, flimflams, stratagems, and bamboozles. No self respecting man’s man would ever want to try out that hot new tea house down the street, get excited about going shoe shopping, or have a Sex and the City viewing party with themed cosmos. He’s attempting to put time in with the girls in the slim hopes that one of them will eventually think of him as more than a friend. He acts like he’s just one of the girls, but we know better.
You’re just one of the girls

i swear to god i know the dude in that photo!…..
……..at least i think that’s him.
“We know better?” Doesn’t that assume that you’re ultimately right? Yes, there’s a quote which could correspond to what you’re getting at, “The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.”
However, I just sense some impractical self-assurance elements in here. Attempting to defame or diminish the other, just to feel slightly better of oneself. Perhaps I’m wrong, but you could never know whether the other is successful with their pursuits, and furthermore maybe there is no true meaning or even a need to knowing it. In other words, take good care and examine oneself, for there’s never anything certain one can know from another.
